The reconstruction was realised sourcing local materials such as stones and wood. In the interior there are 14 ceramic tiles, handmade by painter Franco Bellardi. The church represents a quite place for reflection, in the middle of the mountains.
The Church of St. Francesco is the result of the restoration of an old farmhouse, dating back to the 18th century, called Casetta dei Cerchiari, probably used by shepherds at the time.
