The church has a single nave and a small vaulted apse. It comprises two sections built at different times, evidenced by varying masonry. The older section, dating to the early 18th century, houses the "Madonna della Valle" fresco and now forms the apse. Later, the church was expanded, creating a sacristy behind the nave. This older section, with cracks and a deteriorating roof (damaged beams, rafters, and tiles), is in dire need of repair.

The restoration work on the church involved extensive structural repairs, including the replacement of damaged roof beams and rafters, the consolidation of cracked walls, and potential foundation reinforcement.

Waterproofing measures were implemented to protect the building from moisture damage, and the historic frescoes and artwork were carefully cleaned, restored, and conserved.
